I felt terrible losing them because it seemed like I never got to tell them thanks for everything they meant to me. It's great that you still have your Poppy and are able to voice such things!! BEcause we've lived so far away from them all these years, I am sure Poppy would say he hasn't had the chance to influence you as much as many grandfathers do their grandchildren. But clearly a little goes a long way in this case. You've made my day with this entry. I will copy and send it to Nanny so she can show it to Poppy the next time he comes home.
